Spend a few quiet moments each day this month observing the color changes in the tree leaves and flowers along with the surrounding environment...
Use as many of your senses as you can:
• Seeing with new vision – look into and through what's before your eyes...
• Listen for hidden sounds among the quietness...
• Smell what's floating through the air...
• Feel the textures of leaves, flower petals, tree bark and flower stems...
• Enjoy the tastes of a fall harvest: fruits, vegetables, teas, honey...
Express Your Inner Artistic Self
Go outside with a sketch pad, or just sheets of paper, along with colored pencils or paints and brushes and create...
Be creative with your cell phone's camera –– photograph fall from a new and different perspective...

Contemplate • Reflect & Meditate the influences of these seasonal processes…
- Begin your session by finding a quiet, comfortable place to sit and relax.
- Now, breath in deeply and exhale slowly 3 times.
- Next, focus your attention on the quote above. Read it slowly...
- What meaning does it have to you?
- Recall moments in your life that took your breath away. Now is a good time to start a journal. Write down the moments that took your breath away...
- Close your eyes. Visualize some of those moments.
- While in this visualization, recall how you felt.
- What other features of the flower help you to feel at peace?
